A PHOTO ESSAY: THE STORM DRAIN

INTRODUCTION:

Many researchers have felt that the head shot received by President Kennedy may have come from a storm drain on the north side of Elm Street. Some have even gone so far as to speculate that the "Umbrella Man" might have signaled when it was time for this drain shooter to fire. Below is a study undertaken in year 2000 showing the view from the storm drain was limited enough to be an impossible vantage point. The limousine, according to photos or film taken at the time of the assassination, was not farther enough down Elm Street to be in range. The following pictures, taken in or around this drain, may lay this issue to rest.
